Kenads Printers, In-house studio runs a comprehensive pre-press service, so whether you are supplying your own artwork or would like our studio to put together your ideas for you, we can offer the technical advice you need. Our fully equipped studio uses both Apple Mac and PC platforms to offer you a complete service. We aim to provide our customers with the very latest in proofing via a FREE ripped PDF file of what will be produced. We also offer a proofing solution with the Epson 7600 colour proofer, all proofs are rip-once so any errors can be caught early, saving time and money.
We accept files in various formats. Although Print Quality PDF files are favoured we accept Quark Express 7 (or lower), InDesignCS2, IllustratorCS2 and PhotoshopCS2, for both mac and pc. In addition we also accept for the pc: Coreldraw, Word, Publisher, Excel.The following file formats are also accepted:- TIFF, JPEG, EPS
Please make sure that all fonts (converted to curves if possible) and graphics are included with halftones of at least 300 dpi, colour pictures must be saved as CMYK and as TIFF or EPS files (not as 72 dpi RGB). Please contact the studio if you have any queries.
If any adjustments are required, we will let you know or, with your instruction, adjust the artwork for you. We are also pleased to know be using our new Screen computer to plate system, which provides high quality thermal imaging, our chemical waste is now removed, therefore being kinder to the environment.
